Episode 36: How Nature Can Help You Love Your Wayward Child
with Erica Wiggenhorn
On this week's podcast, I actually have a guest for us. I don't have guests very often, but this one is a guest that I'm really excited to introduce you to. Erica Wiggenhorn is a writing friend, but she is someone who has been through deep hurt, both in terms of the church, but also in terms of what she has been through with her family and especially in parenting.
But what we're talking about today isn't so much about parenting. It's more about how we deal with these big emotions, the hurt, the shame, all the things, how we take it to God, what we do when we don't think God is listening, how we can hear God and whether it's us or Him. And also how to use nature and get out into nature when things are really hard, and how it can help us not just process what we're going through, but also discern God's voice in the midst of it.
Let's dive in.
